Andrea Jean Popkie Remembered as Family Seeks Support for Funeral Expenses and Memorial Service on August 18, 2026
Andrea Jean Popkie died at age 43 after a long battle with cancer and illness, according to a fundraiser created by Amy Kaiser on July 15, 2026.
The fundraiser reported $805 raised toward a $3,000 goal through 10 donations to help cover funeral costs and memorial plans.
Andrea’s loved ones remembered a warm, nurturing, confident, and resilient person with deep ties to community service, Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, and Mater Dei.
Andrea graduated from The Ohio State University and remained a devoted Buckeye who loved Scarlet and Gray, a backwards hat, and good music.
Andrea also enjoyed athletics, including basketball, cross country, softball, volleyball, dodgeball, and euchre.
A memorial service is planned at Spence-Miller Funeral Home on August 18, 2026.
